ABOUT ME,

Profile Shot.png

Born in 1995, I lived my early years in Brandon Manitoba with my father, a government worker, my mother, a small business owner, and my older sister. At a young age I learned of responsibility from working at the family business and delivering newspapers. Growing up I most enjoyed gaming with friends and playing soccer in my free time. I've known for as long as I remember that I want to be a designer, likely due to my love for video games with design aspects.

In high school I took Drafting and Design in which I learned design and CAD skills. Immediately after graduating high school, I began to work for Modern Industrial Structures Brandon (MISB). as a draftsman. During this time I completed structural drawings of modular office/lavatory units. After working and saving money for two years I moved to Winnipeg and began my bachelors degree at the University of Manitoba. I would go on to complete my bachelor of Environmental Design in the Landscape and Urbanism stream.

Once graduated from my bachelor's program, I found myself looking to gain relevant experience in any way I could. This led me to apply at Alladins Landscape Design in Winnipeg as a landscape technician/labourer. Not long after beginning work I established myself as reliable and hardworking. These traits, along with my degree in design, opened an opportunity to participate in design services. Fast forward and I am now functioning as installation foreman and the company's lead designer, working with clients from start to finish in residential landscape installations. During my time with Alladins I earned a Red Seal  in Landscape Horticulture. I now intend to return to the University of Manitoba to earn my Masters degree to become a certified Landscape Architect.
